Welcome to my Bling Block app review.
I have reviewed a bunch of different apps and games on this website. There’s something kind of fun with reviewing apps and games. It sometimes doesn’t feel like work. But that’s what makes it great.
It’s not that all of the apps and games I review are great. Some of them could’ve been given a little bit of polish, to be honest. But it’s amazing how the developers try to make something new out of the same thing.
Sometimes the apps can repetitive. It’s kind of insane how many versions of a 2048 game I’ve seen. Or even the usual match three puzzle game. There’s really so much you can make that works on mobile.
The main reason why I review these apps and games are to test out their money earning capabalities. A lot of the stuff that I’ve reviewed usually involve an opportunity to earn money. You usually play to earn rewards that you can exchange for actual money.
Or that’s how it’s supposed to work, anyway. Most of the apps that I have reviewed rarely deliver on that aspect. I’m not surprised by it. The apps are really just a way for the developers to earn ad revenue.
So, here I am reviewing the Bling Block app. Is it any different from the previous apps I’ve reviewed? We’re about to find out.

Here are some quick details about the app:
- Full Name: Bling Block – Puzzle Game
- Developer: Jump Line Studio
- Availability: Available for Early Access worldwide
- User Reviews: Not available for Early Access releases
What Is Bling Block?
The Bling Block app is a puzzle game similar to Tetris. You drag different block configurations onto a grid. The goal is to clear an entire row or column using those puzzle pieces. This game rewards you with different in-game currency that you can exchange for PayPal credits or in-game currency for other games.

How Bling Block Works
The Bling Block apps is currently available for Early Access on the Google Play Store for Android users.
If you don’t know what Early Access is, it’s basically a way of releasing an app for testing through an official release channel. In this case, it’s the Google Play Store. Developers usually do Early Access releases whenever they need to test an app on a larger scale prior to the actual release. People who want to test the app or game will usually just download the app like normal.
The one thing about Early Access releases is that only the developer can read your reviews for the app. There are a lot of apps that I have reviewed that were only available on Early Access despite being fully designed apps. Like, the apps didn’t feel like there were anything missing from them.
So the Bling Block app works similarly to Tetris. Though it kind of deviates a bit from it. In Tetris or most block-based puzzle games like this, the different block configurations fall onto the grid. You can actually drag those configurations on to the screen in the Bling Block app.
The gameplay pretty much stays the same. You have to complete either a row or column using those shapes. When you do, you earn in-game currency. It’s a fairly straightforward game.
There isn’t much else to the game at this point. You can see that is a progress bar at the top of the grid. When you clear a certain amount of blocks, you get rewards. The rewards are still the in-game currency.
Is Bling Block Legit? Does It Pay?
There are three different in-game currencies that you can earn when you play on the Bling Block app. Coins, diamonds and bills. It’s definitely interesting to see a game have three different in-game currencies. Usually, they stop at two.
Diamonds are the most common in-game currency you can earn. You mainly get them just by completing an entire line of blocks. It’s that simple. Some blocks will have a diamond on them. Those are the ones you need to look out for.
The coins and bills are a bit more uncommon. You only get those two in-game currencies when you fill up the progress bar. As long as you keep playing, you can keep earning those two in-game currencies.
As for the money earning aspect of it all, the diamonds and bills are the ones you need to collect a lot of. The bills can be exchange for PayPal credits. But you need to collect 500,000 of those bills to be able to exchange it for $500 worth of credits.
The diamonds can be exchanged for in-game currency for other games like Roblox and even Pokemon Go. You need to collect at least 10,000 diamonds to be able to exchange it to the corresponding in-game currency.
The things about this is that it won’t even work. 500,000 of anything is a lot. And if a game like the Bling Block app will only give you a few of it after clearing a certain number of blocks, you’re going to be waiting a long time. The exchange rate for the diamonds and in-game currencies for other games also don’t make any sense. None of them match the kind of amounts that those games have.

Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Simple to understand gameplay
- Decent graphics
Cons:
- Takes a while to reach the withdrawal thresholds
- Withdrawal process probably doesn’t work
Conclusion
I can’t really recommend the Bling Block app to anyone. The gameplay for app is fine. It works how you’d think it works. But I can’t really see myself playing this game regularly after this review.
Aside from that, the entire money earning aspect of it, unsurprisingly, doesn’t really work the way you’d expect it to. Whenever a game has very large amounts of money to supposedly give away, they probably are unable to do that. I could see the more established mobile game developers doing it. But even then they’ll probably max it out at $5.
That’s it for my review of the Bling Block app. If you enjoyed it, why not share it with your friends and family?
