Bubble Perish App Review – So Many Prizes! Is It Legit?

Welcome to my Bubble Perish app review.

The world never really runs out of games to play. You would think that we have already reached peak gaming. But somehow there are still games being released every few weeks or so. I have no desire to play every single game that is out there. There is no way I’ll be able to play all of them in my lifetime.

And with so many games out there, there is a chance that the one you’re playing, or will play, are reiterations of some other game. That’s the nature of most ideas. You build on a thing to make it better. There might be a small quirk in the gameplay you want to explore a bit more. Or maybe you just find the original gameplay a bit lacking. Either way, somebody will try to improve upon somebody else’s work.

Often times, people will just straight up put a new coat of paint to an existing game. They might tweak it a little bit here and there. But it will mostly feel somewhat recognizable to some, if they’ve played the game it’s based on. That happens a lot with apps and games that involve some kind of money earning aspect.

Case in point, the Bubble Perish app.

Here are some quick details about the app:

  • Full Name: Bubble perish
  • Developer: flowerplasn
  • Availability: No longer available
  • User Reviews: Not available

What Is Bubble Perish?

Bubble Perish is a tile-matching game where you have to destroy a specific pattern of colored bubbles per level. You shoot colored bubbles upward using an bow-like device in order to match them. The pattern will slowly go down as you keep shooting. That pattern must never reach the line or it’s game over.

This app allows you to earn different kinds of in-game currency. You must collect those in-game currency in order to exchange it for different prizes. Those prizes include PayPal credits, Amazon gift cards and other physical items.

How Bubble Perish Works

The Bubble Perish app was previously available on the Google Play Store for Android users. While this app is no longer listed on the platform, its developer, flowerplasn, is still on the Play Store. The other apps from this developer include Toss Diamond Hoop, 2048 Cube Winner, and Roblocks 2048. (Not to be confused with popular app Roblox.)

So how exactly do you play the game? Well, if you have ever played Puzzle Bobble, you already know the basics. In case you haven’t, allow me to explain.

Both Puzzle Bobble and Bubble Perish fall under the genre of tile-matching games. With these games, your main objective is to clear the level by matching similar items. This genre also gave birth to match-3 and merge games. It’s sort of a weird thing to same, but it falls under the umbrella of tile-matching games.

In Bubble Perish, your objective is to clear a wall made up of a bunch of colored bubbles. Some bubbles are usually grouped together by color in a specific pattern. You shoot one of two random colored bubbles upward using a bow-like device. Every time you shoot, the wall of bubbles will go down a bit. You need to clear all the bubbles in order to finish the level. If you use up all of the bubbles in your bow, then you lose.

Bubble Perish gameplay

Some of the bubbles per level may include some kind of prize. The bubbles could contain either cash, coins or puzzle pieces. Clearing bubbles that have coins in them will automatically go to your coin balance at the top. If you clear ones with either cash or puzzle pieces, it will go towards their own balances. The cash will pool up inside a piggy bank that you can unlock later one.

When you start the game fresh, you will be reward will some cash that automatically goes into your balance. The game will also nudge you a little bit to invite some friends to play the game. You will receive $12 per friend.

Every time you clear the bubbles, you gain points. There are certain point thresholds you need to reach in order to clear the level. The progress bar has three stars that you will clear when you reach the respective thresholds. When you finish the game, there will be a bar at the bottom that shows you how many levels you cleared. If you cleared a specific number of levels, you get to open a chest. The chest contains difference prizes, mainly in-game currency and power-ups.

Speaking of power-ups, there are four that you can use. You unlock each power-up as you progress in the game. Three of the power-ups will help you clear bubbles in either horizontal, vertical or grouped patterns. The other power-up is a rainbow bubble that you can throw into any colored bubble group.

Is Bubble Perish Legit? Does It Pay?

Since the app is no longer available, there is no way to determine if you can actually earn money. Though it seems unlikely that you will actually get money from this app. A lot of the apps that I have reviewed promised some kind of payment for using their apps. But most of them featured very convoluted ways in how their withdrawal system works.

Withdrawal screen for Bubble Perish

In the Bubble Perish app, you can collect different kinds of items that you can exchange for money. The easiest to collect are coins and cash. You will receive a first-time bonus of about $270 worth of virtual currency. It seems intentional that they didn’t give you $300 outright. The next $30 you have to grind for yourself.

And you will have to grind for it. Like some of the other money earning apps, it takes a while to reach that $300 threshold. The game gives out paltry amounts of cash as you progress. The threshold for coins isn’t any better. Three million is a lot to collect. The other ones don’t even matter. They’re also one of the hardest to collect.

Pros and Cons

  • Decent graphics
  • Simple gameplay

  • So many ads
  • In-game currency drops is insufficient
  • No way to actually redeem earnings

I can’t really recommend anybody this app, because there are a lot better apps with this kind of gameplay. You’re probably better off playing those games than Bubble Perish. And you don’t even have to worry that much about whether you’ve collected enough coins or not. Especially if all you’re focusing is the gameplay.

If it’s the money earning aspect you came for, well, you’re shit out of luck. There aren’t a lot of apps out there that give out hundreds of dollars worth of cash. That’s just impossible in the scale of those types of games. You can try apps like BuzzBreak or JustPlay if you want to earn a few dollars here and there. But never considering any of those apps as your main source of income.

Well, that’s it for my Bubble Perish review. If you enjoyed it, please share it to your friends and family.
