Cashzine App Review – Scam Or Legit?

Cashzine app iconWelcome to my Cashzine app review.

There have been a lot of apps that pop up online promising a way to earn money by doing certain tasks. Apps like Money Well or JustPlay let you earn rewards by playing games. But what if you could earn by reading articles? Yes. You read that right.

I still have a lot of skepticism regarding apps that let you earn money. It makes me feel weird for some reason. But in this digital age, anything can be monetized. So why not reading articles? At least you’ll somehow be more informed. And possibly get paid in the process.

But if you share some of my skepticism, I hope that this review will enlighten you on some aspects of the app. Now let’s get started.

What is Cashzine?

Cashzine is a news aggregator app where you can read articles from various sources in one place. The app rewards you with coins for every article that you read and scroll through. And you can redeem those coins for cash and other rewards.

How Cashzine Works

The Cashzine app is currently available on the Google Play Store for Android users.

This app doesn’t really hide the fact that this app supposedly will earn you money. From the app’s name on the app store to its description, they will make it known that you earn coins that you redeem for cash and other rewards.

When you first open the app, it definitely doesn’t strike you that can earn from it. It looks like an ordinary news aggregator app. There is a variety of articles. Though it’s not the usual mainstream sources you’re aware of. It also contains some social features, where you can comment on the articles and other posts. The app looks decent enough.

In order to start earning coins, you first have to sign up for the account on the Me tab. You can use your Facebook or Google account to sign up. Or even your phone number if you want. The Me tab will show you your coin balance, your daily and total coin earnings and your invitation code. Once you’ve signed up, you can now start earning coins from reading the articles. I do want to point out that you can only register one account per phone. So if you’re planning to game the system, don’t.

How to Earn Coins

When you click on an article, a timer will appear usually on the bottom right. The timer basically shows you your progress within the article. But there is a catch. The timer will only move if you continuously scroll through the article. It will take a while scrolling through the page. As long as the timer completely fills up, you will earn the coins. They usually reward you with 20 coins for each article you read.

The Cashzine app gives its users a lot of ways to earn coins from the one. You can get coins by posting comments on articles or posts. If you click on the Invite tab, it will show you a bunch of other ways to earn coins. You can earn coins for each day you log in to the app or by inviting your friends to sign up.

And you can rack in a lot of coins for inviting your friends. When your friend enters your invitation code, they will also earn coins in the process. And you can get some percentage of coins based on how many your friends have earned that day.

Is Cashzine Legit? Does It Pay?

The Cashzine app lets you redeem your coins for credits you can redeem via PayPal or GCash if you’re from the Philippines.

The coin to cash ratio is pretty high. For example, every 1600 coins is equal to 1 Philippine peso. And the minimum withdrawal threshold is ₱400, which is about 640,000 coins. So it definitely will take you a while before you can start cashing out. Though I’m actually fine with that kind of ratio. It makes you work hard for it. The app does give you a lot of ways to earn coins aside from reading the articles. You just have to be really willing to make your way through every part of the app.

The good thing is, the payouts seem legit. I have seen a lot of other user reviews online and they have managed to receive their earnings relatively quickly. According to the app’s terms for withdrawal, it usually takes them about 5–6 days to process it. And for the most part, it works.

Do be mindful that the app has some measures it takes to curb fraudulent actions of its users. So if you’re planning to try any of the farming hacks you’ve seen in videos, maybe steer clear from it. Your account will likely get banned from using the app.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • Decent user experience
  • Easy ways to earn coins
  • Actually lets you earn

Cons:

  • Coin-to-cash ratio can be steep
  • Takes a while to reach minimum threshold
  • App can be buggy

Conclusion

I still have some skepticism regarding this app. But I do have to commend that this app wants to instill a habit of reading articles to its users. Though I think that the whole rewards aspect is a double-edged sword. You do get people to interact with the article. But they’re probably only doing that do earn the coins. I can’t really fault them for it. If somebody offers you a way to earn money with minimal effort, who wouldn’t say not to that?

This app is surprisingly not bad, for the most part. There are a lot of pretty decent articles inside the app. And you can make your posts, and somehow earn coins from it? Somehow, there are also light novels? And games? This app definitely has a lot more than your usual news aggregator app. (Side note: I keep mistakenly write alligator instead of aggregator. They’re very similar sounding words.)

I hope that you enjoyed this review. Do share this with your friends and family—despite not having an invitation code.
