Dice World App Review – Battle App Scam?

Welcome to my Dice World app review.

One of the great things about games is that there are a lot of them. These games will vary in genre and gameplay styles. But there will be something that would tickle your fancy. That’s the great about having a multitude of choices at your disposal.

Because there are a lot of games available to play on your phone, there is a chance that there will be a lot of copies of the same game. Many developers will often make games similar to the one that’s popular. Since there are dupes, the chances of people going for the copy instead of the original will be higher than usual.

A lot of the apps and games that I review on here feature very similar gameplay mechanics. Coin pusher games like Cash Paw or Coin Pusher+ have popped up a lot. So have merge games like Bubble Perish and Merging Blocks Legend. There a lot of games that look slightly different from one another. But how they work are the same.

All of the apps that I mentioned also have some kind of money earning aspect. You play the game and somehow you can earn money from it. That’s the basic conceit of these apps. Unfortunately, these apps rarely deliver on it.

Here are some quick details about the app:

  • Full Name: Dice World – Random Battle
  • Developer: Xiao Faria daCunha
  • Availability: No longer available; previously available worldwide
  • User Reviews: Not available

What Is Dice World?

The Dice World app is just one of many entrants into the merge puzzle space. In this game, you will merge similar numbered dice to evolve it into a higher number dice. Compared to a few other merge games, you are the one who will put the dice onto the board. You have the merge at least three dies in order to evolve it. The game rewards with in-game currency that can be exchange for PayPal credits.

How Dice World Works

Unfortunately, the Dice World app is no longer available to download on the Google Play Store. Neither the app nor the developer are on the platform anymore. That happens a lot with these supposed money earning apps. They just pop out of existence.

Still, it’s probably worth it to explain how the game works. Even though I have talked a lot about mobile games that have very similar gameplay mechanics, there are still some small differences. But do those differences really matter? Not really.

Like I said earlier, the Dice World app is just one of many merge games that existed. For the most part, merge games don’t really differ much when it comes to the actual gameplay. The differences are just mainly visual. Some games opt for animals, while others opt for numbers.

The Dice World app, unsurprisingly, opted for the latter. In some of the merge games, new tiles will automatically show up on the grid. That’s where Dice World differs. The game will generate different numbered pieces, but you have to manually put them onto the 5×5 grid. You can change what dice you want to put.

Gameplay for Dice World

Like a lot of merge games, you will need at least three of the similarly number cubes in order to merge them. When you merge them, you get points. The points are based on the number on the dice. If you merge three cubes with the two dots, you get six points. You have to reach the goal for each level in order to progress.

You will earn rewards at the end of each level. The rewards are basically just two different in-game currencies. Coins and PayPal credits. There’s also a slot machine at the top. Although I’m not really sure what triggers it. Perhaps it gets triggered when you finish the level.

Is Dice World Legit? Does It Pay?

Since the Dice World app is no longer available, it’s hard to test out the withdrawal process. Though, if any of my previous reviews were any indication, the process is going to be very cumbersome. It’s just very, very confusing and tiring.

There are certain tiles in the grid that will sometimes have the PayPal logo on it. When you place any cube on it, you get a chance to redeem the reward. Like a lot of other money earning app, you have to watch an ad in order to claim it. The amount is random but you have to collect a certain amount in order to withdraw.

How much do you have to collect? $100. Yes. You read that right. The game will only let you redeem your earnings if you reach $100 worth of the in-game currency that has the PayPal logo on it. That amount is actually the minimum for a lot of these other money earning games.

Unsurprisingly, the game actually doesn’t want you to reach $100. I saw a video reviewing the app and, even though they placed the cube on the tile with the PayPal logo, the amount that they could received was 0. At that point, the reviewer had around earned $99.91. So it’s kind of weird that the app doesn’t want them to receive $100.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • Decent graphics
  • Easy to play

Cons:

  • Can get boring after a while
  • Game doesn’t reward you with enough coins to reach the minimum threshold

Conclusion

It’s good that the Dice World app is no longer available to download. There are other, better merge games out there. So you still have plenty of choices. Unless you were really just in it for the $100 reward. My question for you is just “Why?”

I don’t really blame you, though. If an app comes around and says that you can earn $100 just from playing a game, I would definitely try it out. But it’s very difficult for developers, especially smaller ones, to consistently pay its users $100. Even if they earn decent amounts of ad revenue, I don’t think they’ll manage.

There are still a lot more of these apps out there. And a lot of them are still on the Play Store. So it doesn’t really stop with just one app. It’s an entire enterprise.

That’s it for my review of the Dice World app. I hope you enjoyed it. If you did, why not share this review to your friends and family?
