Is Mommy Jobs Online A Scam Or Legit Website?

Homepage for Mommy Jobs OnlineWelcome to my Mommy Jobs Online review.

A lot of people nowadays are looking for ways to earn money. I have reviewed a ton of different websites and apps that seemingly offer the opportunity to do that. Most of them rarely deliver on it. There are some that did. But it’s a lot more uncommon.

The most obvious way that people can earn money online is by doing a bunch of freelance jobs. A lot of different websites have listings for different types of online jobs. The expertise level for the jobs that are available online will vary. Some are entry-level jobs while others require more advanced skillsets.

But just because there are a lot of freelance and online job listing websites out there on the internet doesn’t mean that all of them are reliable. A bunch of well known job listing websites have since included freelance and online jobs to their listings. So it’s not hard to look for job listings that are legitimate.

Still, there are a lot of those websites that we need to do more research on. While some of them may have legitimate job listings, there are probably some other aspects that you wouldn’t normally see on a job listing website. You do have to be careful with what you see online.

Mommy Jobs Online Review

Here are some quick details about the website:

  • Full Name: Mommy Jobs Online
  • Type of Service: Job listing website
  • Availability: Available to view worldwide
  • Cost: $85+
  • Years Active: 2012–present

What Is Mommy Jobs Online?

Mommy Jobs Online is a job listing website that provides potential employees with listings for a variety of jobs. The jobs listen on the website have been pre-screened prior to posting online. Unfortunately, you have to pay a one-time subscription fee worth at least $85 in order to access the listings.

How Mommy Jobs Online Works

Mommy Jobs Online is currently available to browse from anywhere in the world. One thing I do have to mention is that website looks really outdated. For a job listing website that has a variety of home-based and online jobs, the website doesn’t seem to reflect that. There is just a lot going on just on the homepage.

A lot of the information is off to one side of the website. And you have scroll right in order to be able to read them. While this may seem like a red flag for a lot of people, I still have a little bit of hope. There’s still a lot more that we have to check out before we come to any conclusions.

The user interface and user experience are definitely not the strong suit for this website. But as you scroll through the homepage, you will eventually find the kind of job listings that may be available to you. You don’t get to view the actual job listings though. The reason for that is…

You have to pay Mommy Jobs Online money in order to view the job listings. This is definitely unusual to see in any kind of job listing website. I don’t think that other job listing websites require you to pay them money in order to view the listings? The weird thing is that you are required to pay the fee before signing up.

There are basically just two prices to be aware of. $210 and $85. The former price will give you access to all of the job listings that are available regardless of any relevant skillsets. While the latter price is applied to five separate job listing types. $210 is a lot of money to give upfront, especially if you’re just starting out. It doesn’t really make sense.

The reason for it seems to be that the job listings on the MJOL website are pre-screened. That means that the job listings available are legitimate. I sort of get it. But it’s not an accessible price for people who don’t have that kind of money upfront.

Is Mommy Jobs Online Legit? Does It Pay?

Since Mommy Jobs Online is just a job listing website, they’re not really in charge with paying you as an freelancer. That whole thing is what your employers are in charge of. The website doesn’t have any obligation other than show you the jobs that you can apply for.

As for its legitimacy, it seems like the website for the most part is legit. Regardless of whether or not the website looks good or not. I wasn’t able to check the job listings because I don’t want to spend $210 just to view it. That just doesn’t seem like a good idea.

The website mentions that you can potentially earn somewhere within the range of $12–90 per hour if you get hired. But looking at some of the reviews made by people who actually used Mommy Jobs Online, it seems that a lot of the listings don’t seem to pan out. A lot of people got hired but didn’t get any communication from their employer.

It seems that they don’t regularly update the listings to show if the employers are still looking for people. Normally, job listings would be removed or show that they’ve hired somebody. Paying them at least $85 doesn’t seem like a good idea.

Pros and Cons

  • Job listings have been vetted for legitimacy

  • Poor user interface and user experience
  • You have to pay a fee in order to view the listings
  • The amount you have to pay doesn’t seem fair
  • Some listings may not work

I don’t really recommend Mommy Jobs Online to anyone because there are a lot more job listing websites out there. A bunch of other job listing websites are better designed than this one. Also most of them are free to join.

The fee that you had to pay and the poorly designed website are really the main reasons why I couldn’t recommend this to anyone. There’s really no reason to pay a website $85 just to view job listings. A lot of people who don’t have jobs don’t have the luxury to shell out that kind of money up front.

There wouldn’t really be any trouble finding home-based or online jobs. I mean, I started out a freelance writer. And now I have this job review websites that help out the kind of person I used to be.

That’s it for my review of Mommy Jobs Online. If you enjoyed, why not share this review to your friends and family.
