Welcome to my Vegas Tycoon app review.
Idle games have been certainly become one of the more common genre of mobile games out there. Different mobile game developers have made their own spin of it. So it’s easy to find a type of idle game that you might enjoy. It’s great to have choices.
It makes sense that idle games have gained a certain popularity among people who mainly play games on their phones. They don’t require so much of your attention. You don’t actually have to worry about it too much. Idle games continue to work even when you’re not actively playing it.
Some idle games do require a bit more effort than others. But the gameplay for most of them are fairly straightforward. A lot of people can get used to how it works in just a few minutes.
One of the most common idle games out there are the business tycoon ones. You start from one business and then expand as you earn more money. There are hospital tycoons, entertainment tycoons and the like. There are a lot to choose from.
Unsurpringly, a few developers have started to make business tycoon idle games that you could supposedly earn money from. Now, if you’ve been on this website regularly, you kind of know where this is going. If not, why not come along on the journey?
Vegas Tycoon App Review
Here are some quick details about the app:
- Full Name: Vegas Tycoon Jackpot Night
- Developer: feliciariley199
- Availability: No longer available to download; previously available for Early Access
- User Reviews: Not available
What Is Vegas Tycoon?
The Vegas Tycoon app is an idle game where you build your business empire on the Las Vegas strip. You start off with a single business that generates profits after a certain amount of time. The goal is to collect more money by upgrading and building more businesses. You tap on each business to collect the profits. The game also rewards you in-game currency that you can redeem for PayPal credits.
How Vegas Tycoon Works
Unfortunately, the Vegas Tycoon app is no longer available to download. This happens a lot with these supposed money earning games. I never really know whether or not Google was the one who took the app down. Maybe it was the developer of the app.
A lot of other money earning apps like fellow idle tycoon game Zootopia Carnival, this app was mainly available as an Early Access release. Whenever an app is release through that method, it means that the developers decided to test out the app through an official channel. Like other beta releases, there is only a certain amount of people that can try out the app.
With Early Access releases, only the developers can see any reviews made by the people who’ve tried the app during that period. Any reviews are taken into consideration to make the app better. But developers of supposed money earnings apps tend to release their apps through this probably because of that caveat.
The gameplay for the Vegas Tycoon apps is pretty much the same as the rest of the idle tycoon games. You start off with your tycoon. Click on the sky to generate money. They’re really taking “pulling money out of thin air” literally. The money that you generate by tapping basically funds your first business.
There really isn’t any other thing you have to worry about. As long as you keep generating profits, you can buy and upgrade any of your businesses. Upgrading will make your businesses earn more money.
Like I mention earlier, certain idle tycoon games will let you buy certain characters that will collect the profits automatically. I’m not really sure if it’s the same case for the Vegas Tycoon app. It’s possible. But for the first few times, you have to click on each business once the progress bar is full. You won’t generate anymore profits until you collect the previous ones.
Is Vegas Tycoon Legit? Does It Pay?
Since the Vegas Tycoon app is no longer available to download through official means, it’s hard to check if there are any other prizes you can supposedly get from the app.
The only thing I have managed to find out was that the app allows you to earn $1,000 worth of PayPal credits. You have to click on a certain icon that pops up next to your businesses. A prompt will show up requiring you to watch ads. Once you’ve finished watching, the amount they reward you will be added to a balance separate from the profits from your businesses.
The app is surprisingly generous with giving you a lot of this certain in-app currency. You get at least a hundred of this in-app currency every time you go through that whole process. So I guess it was relatively easy to reach the $1,000 threshold.
With my experience reviewing all of these apps, it’s very rare for them to actually give their users that kind of amount. Some apps start off with a $100 threshold and it builds up to $1,000. But it’s still very unlikely to get that much money from playing these types of games.
The entire withdrawal process for these types of games are very cumbersome. Also, they don’t actually work. Whenever an game like this has its own withdrawal prompt, it usually doesn’t work. I’ve tried to withdraw a bit of my earnings on the Cash Alarm app before. There was an actual pop-up prompt that loaded a web page that PayPal actually hosts in the Cash Alarm app.
Pros and Cons
- Easy to understand gameplay
- Straightforward tutorial
- Graphics could be better
- No possible way to cash out earnings
It’s easy to avoid this game because it’s no longer available. But there are still a lot of other apps of this kind on the different platforms. There will still be people who will expect to earn money from these games only to be disappointed by them. As long as one app like this is still available, nobody is really safe.
The actual gameplay for the Vegas Tycoon app isn’t really bad, per se. But it could’ve been given a bit more effort in its execution. A lot of other games have in-app advertisements popping up every now and then. If people aren’t paying them to play the game, the developers will most likely opt to have ads.
I guess with the amount of other business tycoon idle game out there, it’s hard to find an audience. But it’s great that there are some options to consider. They just really have to work hard to make a game worth playing.
That’s it for my review of the Vegas Tycoon app. I hope you enjoyed it. If you did, do share this review to your friends and family.
